Dr. Sheldon was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest. After graduating from Birgham Young University, he attended the University of Houston College of Optometry on a US Navy Scholarship. He also graduated as class valedictorian in 1997.
Dr. Sheldon served as Staff Optometric Physician at the Beaufort Naval Hospital in South Carolina. His duties included directing the contact lens and laser vision correction programs for the fighter jet pilots.
In addition he has published more than a dozen articles in medical journals on the advancements of eye health treatments and other eye-health related topics. He has also served as adjunct clinic faculty for three colleges of optometry.
Dr. Sheldon and his wife, Penny, have four beautiful children together. They enjoy hiking, hunting, photography, and travel.
Dr. Sandberg was born and raised in North Dakota. She received her Biology degree from the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks. In addition, she earned her Doctorate in Optometry from Pacific University College of Optometry, where she received an Award of Excellence in Contact Lens Patient Care.
Dr. Sandberg received further clinical training at the Portland Veteran's Adminstrative Hospital, Snoqualmie Valley Eyecare in Washington, and Allina Medical Clinic in Minnesota. During her training, Dr. Sandberg honed her skills with glaucoma, cataracts, diabetic care, surgical co-management, and binocular vision.
Dr. Sandberg and her husband, Mike, enjoy hiking, skiing, and traveling.
