Stephanie Adamson - Stephanie, a Central Oregon Native, is the Office Manager at Central Oregon Eyecare. She joined the COE team in 2002, and has worked in every position in the office. Her favorite part of her job is the patient interaction and all the fun stories she hears every day. She also enjoys working with Dr. Sheldon as his technician. "Central Oregon Eyecare is such a fun place to work. I can’t imagine working anywhere else!"
Mellisa Fellines - Mellisa has been with COE since September 2009 as the Redmond Front Office Manager, and has rapidly assimilated into the COE family. She has worked with the medical and insurance industry for several years. She loves working with the rest of the COE team and patients, and looks forward to coming to work every day. She is a very meticulous, hard worker, and makes it her goal every day to give every patient the best possible experience. You will love her organization and pleasant, fun personality. She has a passion for learning, and in her “spare time” attends online University classes and coaches her kids’ sports teams! Speak Greek? Mellisa does too! Come in and chat with her!
LoriLark McBride, CPOA - LoriLark, a long-time resident of Central Oregon, has been a part of the COE family since 2007. She has 24 years of experience in the eye care field and is a Certified Paraoptometric Assistant. Lori believes that the best part of her job is helping patients see and look their best in their new, high quality eyewear. Her goal is to make every patient experience positive and unforgettable. Lori is proud to work for a company that still believes in giving the best service possible and standing behind their work.
Rachel Hulett - Rachel has been with COE since June 2008. She joined the COE team after working in an ophthalmology clinic for a number of years. She finds the cheerful, friendly atmosphere at Central Oregon Eyecare meshes well with her naturally outgoing personality. Rachel’s favorite part of her job is the patient interaction, and working with Dr. Sheldon and Dr. Sandberg because of their down-to-earth personalities. Rachel also enjoys the variety her job offers and meeting so many wonderful people within our community. She began her career at Central Oregon Eyecare as an ophthalmic technician, and currently serves as the Billing Administrator.
Cheryl Whiteside, ABO - Cheryl has been a part of the COE team since June 2008 and enjoys every minute of it. She began her career as an optician over 20 years ago; attaining her skills and knowledge through night classes and on-the-job training from doctors she was employed by. Cheryl is certified through the American Optometric Association and the American Board of Optometry. Cheryl’s passion for optics, eyecare and people is evident to all of our patients. She is always striving to hone her skills and is currently working toward a contact lens advanced certification in her “spare” time. Cheryl enjoys a good challenge, and is often sought out to repair glasses for folks who have been told by others that there is no hope for their glasses! Cheryl has a quick wit, and enjoys laughing with patients and co-workers. She appreciates the vitality and passion Drs. Sheldon and Sandberg bring to the office and to the profession.
Christy Davis - Christy has been a part of the COE team since February 2006. She has become an integral part of our Prineville office, working primarily in the front office among other positions. She moved to Central Oregon four years ago from New Mexico where her background included customer service, tourism and event planning. Although she has no prior optical experience, she has learned quickly and thoroughly enjoys her position and the relationships she has made with the patients and coworkers over the years. Christy loves her job at Central Oregon Eyecare because she is able to meet and help so many people. She loves the small town feel and the fact that almost everywhere she goes in town she will see a patient that has been in for an eye health check and glasses and or contacts. Christy and her husband think Prineville is a great place to raise their 2 children.
Elizabeth Powning - Elizabeth joined COE in September 2007 as an optician. Her favorite part of her job is helping patients find a frame that they really like and educating them about new lenses and materials. She also finds it very rewarding when her patients pick up their new glasses and can see so much better. Elizabeth loves life and people, and it shows! People consistently comment about how much fun they have working with her in the optical. Elizabeth is also known amongst our patients for her customer service and follow-through. If she doesn’t know the answer to something, she will take it upon herself to find out the answer. With a degree in travel and tourism and having traveled the world, Elizabeth is convinced we are fortunate to live in one of the best places on the planet.
